The synopsis of Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy follows Kim Dok Ja (Ahn Hyo Seop), an ordinary office worker whose life undergoes a drastic change due to his obsession with a novel titled How to Survive in a Declining World.
He is the only one who knows how the story ends and idolizes the character Yoo Jung Hyuk, a tough survivor who is able to rise again after death.
Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy Synopsis
The movie “Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy” tells the story of Kim Dok Ja (Ahn Hyo Seop), an ordinary office worker with a mundane life and no special experiences. Everything changes when the story from his favorite novel, “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint,” begins to come true in the real world.
Dok Ja is the only one who understands the plot and knows how to prevent the destruction of the world. He meets Yoo Joonghyuk (Lee Min Ho), the main character in the novel who has the ability to come back to life after death.
This encounter leads Dok Ja into an adventure full of danger, intense action, and deep emotional conflict. Along the way, he must fight various creatures such as monsters and dokkaebi, and face high-risk situations.
