1. Slow Flow
The first flaws of Secret Invasion MCU is that the plot is so slow. For those of you who have watched the series, you must realize that the story presented by this series is so slow that the audience feels bored when watching it.
There are even some MCU fans who think that the 6 episodes of Secret Invasion can be made into an hour and a half movie.
2. Lack of character depth
The next flaws of Secret Invasion MCU is that it lacks depth in its character. As we know Samuel L. Jackson is a famous actor who plays Nick Fury. During his time as Nick Fury his acting was very good.
But unfortunately, there are some actors and actresses who do not delve deeply into the characters in the Secret Invasion series. One example that we can take is Olivia Colman as Sonya Falsworth.
Actually the figure of Sonya Falsworth is very interesting, but unfortunately her appearance is very brief or Maria Hill, she has the potential to be explored, but her figure is turned off.
3. The Last Two Episodes Feel Rushed
The next flaws of Secret Invasion MCU is that the last two episodes feel rushed. As we discussed in the previous point, at the beginning of the episode the storyline was so slow, not to mention that this series only has 6 episodes with a duration of 30 minutes.
Due to the limited episodes and duration, and the slow pace at the beginning of the story, the last episode of Secret Invasion feels rushed. Not to mention that the battle scenes feel very fast.
4. Ordinary Ending
Then the ending is mediocre. In addition to the slow storyline, then the last 2 rushed episodes, the ending is also mediocre. Even though at the beginning of the episode, the series was made with a spy feel.
But unfortunately the ending is not so good, the ending shows two CGI characters fighting with superpowers. The scene shows Nick Fury and Sonya vs Rhodey Skrull, although it sounds cool, but the scene shown is lacking.
5. Leaves Many Questions
Finally, the Secret Invasion series left many questions. Maybe many of you hope that this series tells the story of when the Skrulls were on Earth, Nick Fury’s personal conflicts and so on.
But throughout the series, these questions were not answered, instead the series left new questions such as when Rhodey was replaced by a Skrull, when Ross was replaced by a Skrull and how the remaining Skrulls survived on Earth.
