4 Reasons the Beyonder Deserves to Be the MCU Villain Replacing Kang

Since Kang's actor was fired, Marvel may have to find a replacement for Kang as a villain in the MCU, Beyonder is the most potential.

There are four reasons why Beyonder is suitable to replace Kang as the main villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Kang is being groomed to be the Avengers’ main adversary in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Phase 5 and Phase 6, known as the Multiverse Saga. Kang’s powers are no joke. He has the ability to disrupt the entire Multiverse which will definitely give the Avengers a hard time.

However, there is another villain who is more powerful, dangerous, and has the power to alter the multiverse and create and destroy it freely. He is known as the Beyonder. This villain has the potential to replace Kang the Conqueror in the MCU without coming across as forced.

1. Beyonder’s threat level as an MCU villain is above the multiversal scale

The Beyonder first appeared in the Secret Wars comic (1984) and he was a member of the Beyond race who lived in a different dimension of the Marvel multiverse. They have the ability to control reality beyond the power of Celestials and Kang the Conqueror.

As an MCU villain, the Beyonder has the power to alter reality, even creating and destroying entire multiverses. However, he’s not actually evil, it’s just that he’s so reckless that he sees the entire Marvel universe as a kind of playground for him.

To date, no member of the Avengers has been able to rival the Beyonder if he is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

2. Loki’s existence as the ruler of the multiverse

The biggest surprise in the MCU was the emergence of season 2 of the Loki series in 2023. This time, Loki has transformed into a multiverse god who takes over the position of He Who Remains. His role resembles Loki as the God of Stories in the comic Loki: Agent of Asgard #1 in 2014.

As the holder of power over the multiverse, Loki’s job is to keep all universes in the MCU protected from multiversal anomalies and disturbances. To make the story work, the new villain must have more power than Loki.

The Beyonder is an excellent option as he exists outside the boundaries of the multiverse and has the ability to alter reality beyond Loki’s God of Stories. The Beyonder’s role as a villain in the MCU would likely be a way to connect Loki, Thor, and the rest of the Avengers.

3. Have the ability to change reality

The Beyonder is a figure who has the ability to change reality. With one swipe of his finger, he can create and erase entire galaxies with ease. All versions of the Beyonder have similar powers related to reality manipulation. We can imagine how terrible the Beyonder would be if he became a villain in the MCU.

In the comic Secret Wars II (1985), his battle against Molecule Man had a huge impact on the entire world across multiple universes. Molecule Man is one of the most powerful enemies Marvel has ever created. He also appeared due to the Beyonder’s negligence.

4. Avengers: Secret Wars in the MCU project

Avengers: Secret Wars (2027) is one of the films that will be released in Phase 6 of the MCU and will be the end of the Multiverse Saga.

The movie is scheduled to be released in 2027. Although there is no further information about the story and characters that will appear, for those who are familiar with the Secret Wars comic (1984), Beyonder is the figure behind the Secret Wars event. This is one of the reasons why the Beyonder could be a villain in the MCU.

Secret Wars is the Beyonder sending all the superheroes and villains from the Marvel universe to fight on a planet called Battleworld.

If it is true that the concluding film will adapt the Secret Wars (1984) comic, then there is no doubt that the Beyonder will be the main character in the MCU Multiverse Saga. Besides, who else has the power to create a huge showdown between superheroes and villains?

Beyonder would be a bigger threat than Kang the Conqueror. So, do you agree if Beyonder replaces Kang the Conqueror as the villain in the MCU?
