Meanwhile, as reported by the film’s Wikipedia page, it was revealed that Death Island will be released in theaters on July 7, 2023.

Resident Evil: Death Island Synopsis

So the synopsis of Resident Evil: Death Island, is set in 2015. In terms of the game timeline, the events of this movie take place after the events of the game Resident Evil 6 (2013) and after the movie Resident Evil: Vendetta (2014).
Death Island focuses on a favorite RE character, Leon Kennedy (Matthew Mercer) who is given a mission to save the film’s important savior character, Dr. Antonio Taylor.
Well at the same time, top B.S.A.A agent, Chris Redfield (Kevin Dorman) is busy investigating the zombie outbreak in San Francisco, USA.
