The official title for the latest Spawn reboot movie project has been revealed along with a new logo. The Spawn comic was originally published in 1992 and is the work of Todd McFarlane.
Spawn’s success and popularity in the comic world was already huge, even before it got its first live action movie adaptation. The movie was first released in 1997 with Michael Jai White as the main star.
Spawn Reboot Official Title
After a long wait, Todd McFarlane has finally revealed the official title for the Spawn reboot. Through his official Instagram account, the comic creator showed a photo of the script cover, signaling that the film’s scriptwriting process has been completed.
However, unfortunately, McFarlane did not provide any further information on the development and details of the movie, although he did announce the official logo and title for the Spawn reboot.
In addition to the image, the photo also features a list of the screenwriters involved in the project. This announcement comes about two months after McFarlane revealed that work was underway on a new movie script and that the writers were still not satisfied with their work.
This movie project from 2015 is now titled King Spawn with Jamie Foxx in the lead role. At the moment, there is no announcement regarding the rest of the cast.
After announcing the project seven years ago, Scott Silver, an Oscar-nominated screenwriter, has been selected to work with Malcolm Spellman and Matthew Mixon.
Originally, Todd McFarlane was going to direct the movie, but he decided to step down in March 2023.
