The latest leaked photo of the movie Superman by director James Gunn has been circulating on social media. The film’s production process is still ongoing and is scheduled to be released in July 2025.
Many photos leaked from the set which then spread on social media. One of the latest photos is a leak of Superman’s costume that will be used in the movie.
Leaked Photos of the Latest DCU Superman Movie
A Twitter user with the username @brian_lumley recently posted two photos showing David Corenswet’s version of Superman in action on set.
The photos feature two different newspapers, The Daily Planet and The Metropolis Eagle. One of the photos shows Superman stopping a train that has fallen off its tracks. Interestingly, the news was written by Clark Kent himself.
After that, there is another image that shows Superman standing tall after saving a building with 20 people in it. This leaked image has further increased the enthusiasm of fans for the first live action movie project of the DCU.
The leaked photo gives a hint of how this Superman movie will look like. In this case, David Corenswet’s version of Superman will return to his roots as in the comics.
As we know, the version of Superman played by Henry Cavill in the DCEU is more inclined to be a superhero with a dark feel.
Superman and Wonder Woman seem to be affected by Batman’s darkness, which, while interesting, takes away from their character identities. James Gunn may want to bring back the Superman that everyone hopes for.
Even so, that doesn’t mean Superman won’t face difficult or scary enemies. As seen in the image James Gunn uploaded earlier, there are hints of a powerful DCU Superman villain emerging.
On the other hand, Gunn has introduced the main villains in the movie such as The Engineer and The Authority. Let’s wait to see what this movie will be like in 2025.
