Weapons Synopsis
Justine Gandy (Julia Garner) is a teacher and homeroom teacher at Maybrook Elementary School. In general, her work runs smoothly and daily activities at school proceed as usual.
However, one day, a major event shook Gandy’s life and the entire school community. The school became the center of attention when 17 students from Gandy’s class were reported missing under mysterious circumstances.
That morning, none of them attended class, even though school was running normally and other student activities continued without interruption.
Only one student, Alex Lilly (Cary Christopher), was seen at school at that time. After investigation, it was revealed that the strange incident began when the seventeen students did something beyond human comprehension, precisely a few hours before school started.
Almost all of the students in Gandy’s class woke up simultaneously at around 2:17 a.m., then got out of bed, ran outside, and disappeared into the darkness of the night, which then triggered chaos and panic when morning came.
The film project was developed by production company New Line Cinema after winning the auction for the rights to Cregger’s script.
