Warner Bros. has finally announced the release date for The Conjuring 4 based on the latest information. The Conjuring, a horror franchise that has been running for more than 10 years, will reach its end with this film.
While the plot is still yet to be revealed, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will be reprising their roles as the Warren couple in this project.
The Conjuring 4 Release Date
In addition, Michael Chaves will return as director for The Conjuring 4 after previously directing The Nun II.
According to the latest news from Variety, Warner Bros. has set the release date for The Conjuring 4 on September 5, 2025. Although the release date has been set, there is no information on when production will begin.
Regarding the release schedule of The Conjuring 4, the report from Variety also explained that WB shifted the release schedule of The Bride to September 2025 after previously having a release schedule in early October 2025.
With The Conjuring 4 scheduled to release in September 2025, it will be a battle at the box office. This is because in that month there are approximately three other horror movies that will be released.
The movie is the latest installment of the Insidious franchise. In addition, in the rest of the month, we will also see Jordan Peele’s other horror movie projects, namely Him and SAW 11.
In the previous year 2023, September saw a battle between two movies, Saw X and The Exorcist: Believer. And Saw X managed to achieve greater success than The Exorcist.
Potentially a Big Box Office Success
With no other confirmed movie titles for now in the Conjuring franchise, Warner Bros will most likely rely on The Conjuring 4 movie and its results at the box office.
The Nun II earned a lower revenue of over $100 million compared to the previous movie.
Given that the pandemic has ended and fans are curious about the end of the Warren family’s story, it is possible that The Conjuring 4 will achieve great success at the box office.
