The Crow Reboot Movie to Be Released This Year

Despite the hiccups in some movie projects, Lionsgate is already preparing a reboot of The Crow that will be released this year.

Currently, Lionsgate is facing obstacles that have delayed the schedule of several movie projects, but The Crow reboot will still be released this summer. One of the movie projects affected is the spinoff of the John Wick franchise, Ballerina.

According to reports, the movie was delayed by a year, resulting in the release schedule changing to 2025.

However, Lionsgate is already preparing another movie project to replace Ballerina. According to a report from Deadline, the reboot of The Crow will be released in the summer of 2024.

This means that it coincides with June 7, 2024, which was previously the schedule for the release of the movie Ballerina.

The Crow reboot movie is an adaptation of the comic of the same name created by James O’Barr. Originally, the movie adaptation of The Crow was released in 1994 with Brandon Lee, Bruce Lee’s son, as the lead.

However, an accident that occurred during filming resulted in Brandon’s death and made the movie unlucky and cursed.

Despite some negative aspects, The Crow received many positive reviews and was considered an interesting superhero movie. Its popularity still persists today.

In June, the reboot of The Crow will star Bill Skarsgard, who previously played Pennywise in IT. The movie will reportedly have differences with the 1994 version.

The Crow reboot will undergo changes with a more modern approach to its plot. Interestingly, Lionsgate chose to release this movie in June.

This is because there is a horror film produced by New Line Cinema which will also be released on June 7, 2024, namely The Watchers by director Ishana Night Shymalan.

Perhaps Lionsgate deliberately wanted to compete with the movie, so they decided to postpone the schedule of Ballerina and replace it with The Crow. What do you guys think about this news? Comment below
