Prime Video has announced that season 2 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022) is coming soon, which is great news for fans.
The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power is a prequel to the award-winning Lord of the Rings. The movie tells the story of Sauron’s creation of the Rings of Power.

The Lord of the Rings: The Ring of Power Season 2 Synopsis
In the first season of the series we have followed the unexpected relationship between Galadriel and Halbrand, as well as the creation of three Elven rings that aim to protect their race from decline.
The first season will also show how Mordor was formed and show the beginning of the fall of Numenor, with characters like Isildur and Elrond appearing in the series.
Then it’s on to The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 2, will tell the story of Sauron’s return after Galadriel banished him. With no allies, Sauron relies on his ingenuity to strengthen himself and oversee the creation of the Ring of Power.
The characters will be trapped in dark and dangerous situations. However, despite their predicament, they will find the spirit and courage to fight the Dark Lord.
