The Omen movie sequence
1. The Omen – 1976

In 1976, the horror movie The Omen was released for the first time. This movie tells the story of the tragedy experienced by a married couple, namely Robert Thorn (Gregory Peck) and Katherine (Lee Remick). They experienced the loss of their first child just hours after his birth.
The doctor then told Katherine that she could no longer have children. Taking advice from a priest, Robert then agreed to adopt a baby at the hospital without Katherine’s knowledge. Robert also decided not to tell Katherine about the death of their baby.
Damien (Harvey Spencer Stephens) was the name they gave the baby. After five years, Robert’s family situation is getting better. However, a series of strange events began when Damien’s nanny decided to end her life. One day, Father Brennan (Patrick Troughton) reveals to Robert what happened to Damien.
Katherine began to feel suspicious of her own son’s behavior. Damien had done some strange things like refusing to go to church and the animals at the zoo seemed afraid of him.
The situation gets more complex as Father Brennan insists on ending Damien’s life immediately.
2. Damien: Omen II – 1978

The Omen movie sequence is Damien: Omen II, which tells the continuation of the story of the first movie. The movie was released in 1978 and tells the story of Damien Thorn (Jonathan Scott-Taylor) who is still alive.
An archaeologist enlists the help of his friend, Michael Morgan, to deliver a box to a new guardian named Damien, informing him that Damien is an antagonist of Christ. The box contains seven daggers that need to be used to end his life.
Unluckily, before they could deliver the box, the archaeologist and Michael died in a building collapse. Seven years later, 12-year-old Damien was living happily with his family. However, there were some family members who didn’t like him. Those people who hated Damien began to die suddenly.
After some time passed, the box owned by the deceased archaeologist, which contained 7 daggers to kill Damien, was also found.
3. Omen III: The Final Conflict – 1981

Retelling the life story of Damien Thorn (Sam Neil), the adult son of Lucifer, The Omen trilogy titled Omen III: The Final Conflict does not reveal how Damien continues his life after losing both of his adoptive fathers.
Damien is currently at the peak of his career. He tries to get the position of the American Ambassador in England, so with his evil power, he causes the death of the Ambassador on duty.
Instead, it appears that the 7 daggers that could finish Damien off have been auctioned off to 7 different priests. Unbeknownst to anyone, the seven priests planned to kill Damien using their knives.
4. The Omen IV: Awakening

The fourth installment of The Omen franchise tells the story of a young boy whose body is inhabited by the soul of a descendant of the devil or Antichrist.
The story focuses on Gene (Michael Woods), a congressman, and Karen (Faye Grant), a lawyer, who decide to adopt a daughter from an orphanage.
After seven years have passed, Della (Asia Vieira), their daughter, begins to exhibit strange behavior. The people around her also face a series of mysterious deaths, including their neighbors and their nanny.
Della’s parents, busy with their work, began to hire a detective to uncover Della’s background. From then on, Della’s secrets begin to unravel.
5. The Omen – 2006 (Remake)

Glenn Williamson’s The Omen, released in 2006, is a new version of the original movie. The plot and conflict in this movie are the same as the previous version. The only difference is the players who play a role in this movie.
It tells the story of Robert (Liev Schreiber) who takes a baby from the hospital without the knowledge of his wife (Julia Stiles). The decision was made after they both lost their babies soon after birth.
Afterward, Robert and Katherine named their son Damien (Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick). However, their family happiness is shattered when strange events begin to occur.
Not only that, the situation gets even more complicated when Father Brennan (Pete Postlethwaite) arrives and reveals Damien’s background.
6. The First Omen – 2024

The movie will tell the story of the birth of Damien, a demonic figure or Antichrist, which is a prequel to the story of The Omen (1976). The story begins with Margaret Daino (Nell Tiger Free) trying to fulfill her religious duties at a church.
However, what she encountered was not a spiritual upliftment, but an eerie presence. Margaret was plagued by a darkness characterized by the presence of crows around her.
The continued presence of symbols of darkness has made Margaret doubt her faith and her trust in the church she serves.
These doubts intensified and confused her, but she remained convinced that there was a sinister conspiracy going on in the church.
