The release of Daredevil: Born Again has been revealed. Although the MCU series is undergoing major changes in terms of its creativity, we now know when Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+.
During Disney’s presentation event, it was revealed that Daredevil: Born Again will be released in March 2025. What’s even better is that production on the series is already complete after experiencing creative changes and strikes.
As we know there was a strike in the Hollywood entertainment industry in 2023 which caused considerable delays. Charlie Cox has announced to Deadline that production on the series wrapped a few weeks ago.
As long as the post-production process goes without a hitch, there will be no additional delays. In addition, the new logo for Daredevil: Born Again has also been released. Interestingly, the series now consists of only 9 episodes.
The making of Daredevil: Born Again originally began in February 2023 in New York City. However, production was halted in June due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
At the time, Marvel Studios began reviewing the footage that the production team had shot for the series and reportedly, Kevin Feige was not satisfied with the results he saw.
Reportedly, he felt that the series was unsuccessful, which eventually led to the dismissal of lead writers Chris Ord and Matt Corman.
The directors involved in the episodes that have not yet become movies have also experienced the same thing and Marvel has begun the process of finding new writers and directors.
Production on Born Again then resumed in January 2024, with Dario Scardapane as showrunner and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead as lead directors.
The release dates of Daredevil: Born Again and 2 other MCU series were also revealed.
In addition to revealing the release schedule for Daredevil: Born Again, Disney+ also announced the release schedule for several other MCU series such as Ironheart and Agatha.
Ironheart will be released next year, while Agatha All Along will be released on September 18, 2024. However, we can’t deny that Daredevil: Born Again is what fans are most looking forward to.
As we know, officially Daredevil: Born Again is a direct sequel to the Daredevil series that airs on Netflix. Let’s just wait for the release of the series later.
