This Important Character will be Removed in Gen V Season 2

The character previously played by Chance Perdomo will reportedly be removed or will not be given to another actor in Gen V Season 2.

The production team of the series Gen V has made the decision to honor the memory of the late Chance Perdomo by not touching the character he played in Gen V Season 2.

Through an announcement on Twitter, they explained that the character that Chance Perdomo played will not be given to another actor, so that character will not appear again in the series in the future.

They are exploring other story options to close the narrative of Andre Anderson’s character, who Chance Perdomo played in the Gen V series, without the need to find a replacement for his role.

Originally, the production of Gen V’s second season was to start last month, but due to Perdomo’s sudden death, the production schedule had to be put on hold.

They also announced that the series will begin production later this month, and producers are looking for the right method to honor Perdomo.

Below is their official statement expressing their sorrow for the loss and their plans to move on.

“As we continue to miss Chance Perdomo, everyone at Gen V is determined to find the best way to honor his memory. We will not be recasting the role, as no one can replace Chance. Instead, we have taken the time and space to recast our Season 2 storyline as we begin production in May. We will honor Chance and his legacy this season.”

Perdomo is best known for his role as Ambrose Spellman in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. He was then chosen to play Andre Anderson in Gen V. Gen V itself is a spinoff of The Boys, which became a huge hit on Prime Video.

Production for the season was set to begin in Canada in April 2024. However, in late March, Perdomo died in a car accident in Upstate New York.

People who had worked with him were devastated by this sad news. Many knew him as a person who brought a cheerful atmosphere to every shooting session. He was always able to lift everyone’s spirits with his jokes and optimistic attitude.
