Thunderbollt Ross Wants to ‘Rebuild’ the Avengers Again in Captain America: Brave New World

Thunderbollt Ross asks Sam Wilson to help him rebuild the Avengers in a new clip for Captain America Brave New World.

Those of you who are Marvel fans might remember it. After the events of Avengers: Endgame, many of our favorite superheroes have retired or even died (like Ironman). And of course, we’re all wondering if there will be another Avengers team in the MCU in the future? The answer is there will be.

The potential reconstitution of the Avengers team was hinted at in the latest clip of Captain America: Brave New World.

New Avengers Team to be Rebuild

In a clip released by Marvel on Youtube, we can see a conversation between Captain America (Anthony Mackie) and US President, Thaddeus E. “Thunderbolt” Ross (Harrison Ford). In the conversation, Ross admits that he has accepted the Avengers, despite previously hating the team and having signed the Sokovia Accords to control and regulate the actions of the Superheroes.

Ross asked Sam Wilson to help him rebuild the Avengers. He also thanked the team for restoring and saving half of humanity that was lost to Thanos.

Sam Wilson may have been Captain America in The Falcon and Winter Soldier series. But Captain America: Brave New World will be Anthony Mackie’s big screen debut as Captain America after taking over the role from Chris Evans as Steve Rogers. The final film of Phase 5 also features Tim Blake Nelson (Samuel Sterns / Leader), Giancarlo Esposito (Seth Voelker / Sidewinder), Liv Tyler (Betty Ross) and Danny Ramirez (Joaquin Torres / Falcon).

Captain America Brave New World will be the shortest Captain America movie so far, with a running time of only about 1 hour and 58 minutes.

Captain America: Brave New World is scheduled for release on February 14, 2025.
