After the massive success of The Batman (2022). No doubt, this made the film’s producer, director and scriptwriter, Matt Reeves (Dawn of the Plamet of the Apes). Together with Warner Bros, is interested in producing more films or even series from Reeves’ Batman world.

And in fact. When I wrote and uploaded this article. There are already 2 universe Batman projects owned by Reevcs that we can say have received the green light.

Specifically, a spin-off series focusing on The Batman’s villain, The Penguin (Colin Farrell) and a sequel to The Batman or what we are currently calling The Batman 2.

Penguins Are Not Alone

The Batman 2 project was officially announced at the CinemaCon 2022 event at the end of April. However, for The Penguin series project, which reportedly will have a limited series format on theHBO Max streaming service. Until now, it is reportedly still under development.

However, it is still in the development stage. It feels like we can be absolutely sure that The Penguin spin-off series project will indeed be produced and released later.

Now while The Penguin project is still not 100% certain. Recently, there was a surprising update that we will look at below.

Yes, so as the title of this article suggests. It turns out that it’s not just The Penguin who will be getting a spin-off movie.

As reported by THR. Reeves is now reportedly also busy developing spin-off film projects from 3 other Batman villains. Yes, you read that right. Not 1, not 2, but 3!

And the 3 Batman villains who are currently being developed for the spin-off film project are: Professor Pyg, Scarecrow, and Clayface. Although this news looks legit and official. But it’s better to wait again from Reeves’ mouth or WB directly for more official.

But yes, if this news is true. Of course, this makes us who are fanboys of Batman very excited. Especially because the three villains themselves have never had a spin-off film.

Now, what do you think about this news?
