Just a little information for those of you who don’t know, the Chronicles of Riddick franchise was first released in 2000. Starring Vin Diesel as Richard B. Riddick, the movie was directed by Twohy with a script he co-wrote with Ken and Jim Wheat.
In 2004 Twohy returned to write and also direct the sequel entitled The Chronicles of Riddick, which also starred Diesel. Then this collaboration continued because Twohy and Diesel again worked together for the third film entitled Riddick which was released in 2013.
And now the good news for you Riddick and Vin Diesel fans, as the actor will be reuniting with director David Twohy in the upcoming fourth movie.
Riddick: Furya
According to a report from Deadline, Vin Diesel and David Twohy will team up again in the Riddick movie: Furya. Twohy will later direct and write the script. Meanwhile, Vin Diesel will reprise his role as Richard B. Riddick. The movie will be produced by Samantha Vincent and Diesel will also produce the movie through his One Race Films banner.
Riddick: Furya revolves around the anti-hero returning home to his home planet of Necromongers. There he encounters other Furyans who look like him as they struggle to fight a new enemy.
