“I’ve seen a little bit of what James (Gunn) and Peter (Safran) have been up to and it’s been a great indicator of where the new DC will go under their leadership. There will be more to come from the brand in the coming months… We’ll see what James and Peter have in store for the next 10 years in the coming months.””I’ve seen a little bit of what James (Gunn) and Peter (Safran) have been up to and it’s been a great indicator of where the new DC will go under their leadership. It’s been a year since the announcement of James Gunn and Peter Safran’s big project, the DC Universe.

DC Universe is a new cinematic universe that Warner Bros. built to replace the previous cinematic universe that failed.

Gunn and Safran have lined up several film and series projects for the DC Universe, including Superman: Legacy and the Booster Gold series. Gunn stated that currently DC Universe is just about to start chapter 1: Gods and Monsters.

They hope that in eight to 10 years’ time, there will be two parts that they release for the DC Universe.

Based on Zaslav’s statement, we will soon know what movies and series will be released in the next few months, both for Part 1 and Part 2. Back in January, Gunn commented on the similarities between the DC Universe and Marvel.

Gunn doesn’t actually deny this. He admits that he has learned a lot from his work experience at Marvel. What separates the DC Universe from Marvel is the preparation they have done from the beginning. The writers have determined their plans for the future.

DC Universe will start with Chapter 1 focusing on the Creature Commandos and then the movie Superman: Legacy in 2025.
