Although it falls under the adventure thriller genre, this new version of Anaconda clearly tries to emphasize comedy elements. Anaconda Synopsis
This film revolves around the adventures of two friends, Griff (Paul Rudd) and Doug (Jack Black), who are huge fans of the original Anaconda movie. In an effort to revive their favorite work, they decide to remake the film despite their very amateur skills.
However, what started out as just a hobby turned into a terrifying situation when a giant anaconda attacked their filming location. With a thick layer of comedy and adventure, this film offers funny moments, such as when Doug is presumed dead and used as bait, just to make sure he is still alive.
