The collaborative project between production house Blumhouse and director Leigh Whannell, Wolf Man, has released its first teaser trailer. Blumhouse, best known as a production house in the horror genre, seeks to present a contemporary version of one of Universal’s classic monsters.
To welcome Halloween and kick off the film’s promotion, Universal Pictures unveiled the first teaser trailer for Wolf Man.
Lawrence Talbot becomes a Werewolf in Wolf Man Teaser Trailer
The teaser trailer begins with various depictions of wildlife life in Oregon, America. A family decides to start a new life in a remote area. However, their quiet and peaceful life is suddenly disrupted when Larry experiences a strange injury.
The wound caused him to transform into a werewolf. This change gave him a kind of superpower, but also made him bloodthirsty and indifferent to others.
The Wolf Man movie features Christopher Abbott as Lawrence Talbot, who is a werewolf, alongside Julia Garner, Sam Jaeger, and Matilda Firth. This is the director’s second movie to feature characters from Universal Monsters.
Will Release January 2025

Previously, in 2020, Whannell had released a reboot of The Invisible Man starring Oliver Jackson-Cohen, where he made major changes to the storyline.
Whannell also made modifications to the Wolf Man movie’s story, where in the classic version, Talbot is depicted as falling in love with an antique shop owner and fighting to protect the people he loves.
However, in the new Wolf Man movie, Talbot’s character will have a dilemma as a father who loves his family very much and must face a curse while trying to protect them.
The Wolf Man is a rebooted version of the iconic character that Lon Chaney Jr. first portrayed in 1941 in The Wolf Man.
The movie had a significant impact on the way people viewed the werewolf in fiction. Blumhouse then produced a reboot project for this monster character and featured it in a movie called Wolf Man. The movie is scheduled to air in January 2025.
