While no information has been revealed about the fate of Dafne Keen’s X-23 character in Deadpool & Wolverine, fans have speculated that X-23 will be part of the Young Avengers group in the MCU.
Laura Kinney has been a hot topic of conversation lately. This is due to her reappearance in Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) after previously debuting in Logan (2017).
The Young Avengers are a team of young superheroes who have an important role to play in Secret Wars, whose movie will be released in the next few years. Aside from Laura Kinney, who are some of the potential Young Avengers members who have appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to date? Here’s the list!

1. Spider-Man

4. Tommy Maximoff
First appearing alongside his brother in the series Wandavision (2021), Tommy Maximoff is also the son of Scarlet Witch and Vision. In the comics, Tommy joined the Young Avengers under the hero name Speed. His powers are similar to his uncle, Quicksilver.

Next up is Skaar. Skaar is Hulk’s son from Planet Sakaar. He first appeared in She-Hulk (2022) and has a similar physical appearance to his father. Skaar has been confirmed to be Hulk’s successor in the Young Avengers.

Kamala Khan, who appears in her first series, Ms. Marvel (2022), is the first Muslim superhero in the MCU. She has also seen action alongside Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau in The Marvels (2023). We can consider this movie as solidifying Kamala’s status as a potential member of the Young Avengers.
13. Cassie Lang
After making her battle debut in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), Cassie Lang has been confirmed to take over her father’s role in Young Avengers. Having similar powers to Ant-Man, Cassie Lang will transform into a superhero by the name of Stature.
14. Laura Kinney (X-23)
In Marvel comics, Laura Kinney is said to have attended Avengers Academy. If the mutant era is really coming as Kevin Feige stated, then there is a possibility that X-23 will join the X-Men and Young Avengers.
Wolverine was not only a key member of the X-Men, but also joined the Avengers. This happened in New Avengers #5 (2005), when Iron Man made Logan an offer of Avengers membership, and he accepted. If the MCU decides to make Wolverine part of the Avengers, there is a possibility that X-23 will also join.
