Linkin Park decides to find a New Vocalist
Quoting an article from CNN Media page and also Kompas.com. Mike Shinoda as Guitarist and Keyboardist from the Linkin Park group told how the 28-year-old woman was chosen.
In an interview session with Loudwire magazine. Shinoda said that the process of accepting Emily Armstrong (and also Colin Brittain as the new drummer) happened naturally. During the last few years, the band with dozens of hits was involved in a lot of jamming and collaboration with a number of musicians. Until then Shinoda, Delson, Farrell, and Hahn decided to make Emily their new vocalist.
“When I started hearing Emily’s voice on various occasions, it was the first time my brain accepted it as a Linkin Park song. The more time we spend with Emily and Colin, the more we enjoy their world-class talent, their presence, and all the things we create,” explained Mike Shinoda as quoted in Kompas.com.
