On Wednesday, the official website for the anime adaptation of Ooyukiumi no Kaina revealed its new trailer. The staff also revealed the anime’s main visuals and revealed the premiere date for the anime.
Kaina of the Great Snow Sea is a fantasy manga created by Tsutomu Nihei and illustrated by Itoe Takemoto. The comic has been published through Monthly Shounen Sirius magazine since February 2022.

The anime is scheduled to premiere on January 11, 2023. Then Yorushika will sing the opening theme song, Telepath. The closing song was by GReeeeN with the title Juvenile.

Ooyukiumi no Kaina Anime Synopsis
A world shrouded in an endless sea of snow, people eke out a living, either huddled around the roots of the great trees that dot the surface, or high up in the canopy, which spreads into the planet’s atmosphere.
The meeting between Kaina, a young man from the canopy, and Liliha, a young woman from the surface, sets off a series of events that will change the fate of the world.
