On Monday, Netflix released the latest trailer for the anime crossover Baki Hanma vs. Kengan Ashura. In the trailer, there is a reveal about the production team as well as a performance of the anime’s opening theme song.
Baki Hanma is the main protagonist in the manga and anime series “Baki the Grappler,” created by Keisuke Itagaki. The character is known as an extremely talented and dedicated young warrior, whose main goal is to defeat his father, Yujiro Hanma, who is considered the strongest being in the world.
Meanwhile, Kengan Ashura is a Japanese manga series written by Yabako Sandrovich and drawn by Daromeon. Kengan Ashura revolves around the dark world of gladiatorial combat organized by wealthy conglomerates to settle business disputes.

The anime is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on June 6. The anime’s opening theme song “Fly High” will be sung by Atarashii Gakkō! while the closing theme song “Don’t Stay” will be sung by Lead.
The trailer shows several fights, including Saw Paing Yoroizuka versus Kaoru Hanayama, Raian Kure facing off against Jack Hammer, and the fight between Baki Hanma and Ohma Tokita.
Cast members who have previously participated in both franchises will return to voice the characters in the anime. In addition, the anime will also feature some new crossover fights.
The anime production involves Toshiki Hirano as the director, working under TMS Entertainment. Atsuo Ishino was in charge of screenwriting. Character designs were developed by Makoto Takahoko and Shingo Ishikawa.
For the music department, Kenji Fujisawa, who had previously contributed to the Baki anime, returned to compose the music for this crossover, along with composer Yasuharu Takanashi. Hiromi Miyawaki served as the color director on the project.
Shunichiro Yoshihara assumed the role of art director. Tatsuo Noguchi held the position of director of photography, while Yuriko Sano took care of the editing. On the audio front, Yasuyuki Urakami acted as the sound director.
