25. Jigoku Shoujo
The Jigoku Shoujo anime tells the story of Hell Link, a hell site that can be accessed at night, precisely at midnight.
The site is visited by people who have a grudge against someone, the person can send the person they dislike to hell through this site.
Enma Ai, the girl who came from hell to drag the list of names registered on the site. Usually Enma Ai will appear after a mysterious SMS that makes the cell phone screen red comes.
26. Shiki
This anime tells the story of a family who just moved to a small village called Satoba. The Kirishiki family moved into an old and long unoccupied mansion.
At the same time as the family arrived in the village, a strange incident occurred where one by one the villagers were affected by a mysterious disease.
Dr. Ozaki, a skilled doctor in the village said there was nothing serious about the symptoms of the disease, but in fact people affected by the plague died within a few days. Everything begins to unfold when the existence of vampires appears.
27. Gakkou no Kaidan
The next best gore horror anime recommendation is Gakkou no Kaidan. This anime tells the story of Satsuki and Keiichirou, brothers who are looking for their cat named Kayak in an old school.
Followed by their friends, they began to fear the ghost stories that occurred in the old school. Their fear finally reaches its peak when they meet Hanako (Japanese urban legend) and other ghosts. They finally found out that the school was haunted.
28. Higurashi no Karu koro ni
This anime tells the story of the village of Hinamizawa in 1983, Keiichi Maebara is a transfer student at a school with few students there.
Watanagashi, an annual festival held in the village and again, the oddities of the festival would occur where people would die and disappear.
29. Elfen Lied
Elfen Lied anime tells the story of a mysterious girl who rebels in a laboratory and has the power of Invisible Hand, where she can sadistically kill within 2 meters without physical contact.
The murder scenes are very sadistic ranging from severed heads, dislodged hearts, split bodies and many other sadistic things.
30. Kagewani
This unique anime titled Kagewani tells the story of Banba Sousuke, an expert (scientist) of Kyou’ou Science University who is involved in interactions with unknown astral creatures.
This figure is not friendly to humans, and has even killed anyone who comes into contact with him. Because he is a scientist, he wants to research the figure who has entered his past, the creature is called Kagewani.
31. Shigurui
This anime tells the story of two bushi, Fujiki Gennosuke and Seigen Irako who chose different paths in life. One becomes a true samurai, while the other becomes a bushi who dares to challenge the standards of samurai behavior.
They both had their reasons, and somehow I felt that they were both equally honorable. Seeing these two somehow reminded me of Mori Ranmaru and Akechi Mitsuhide, who were both assistants to Oda Nobunaga.
