The animated series Solo Leveling, adapted from a manhwa, was honored as Anime of the Year 2025 at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025.
The anime also won the categories of Best New Series, Best Action, and the award for Best Main Character which went to Sung Jinwoo, and also won the Best Score and Best Ending Sequence awards.
Crunchyroll announced the winners in 32 award categories for anime that aired throughout 2024. The winners were determined through voting involving fans from the various countries where the anime was broadcast.
The Crunchyroll Anime Awards is an annual event that has been held since 2016. This year, the event took place at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa, Tokyo, Japan.
