Honey Lemon Soda Synopsis
Honey Lemon Soda tells the story of Uka Ishimori, a 15-year-old girl who faces challenges in middle school. Nicknamed ‘Rocky’ for her quiet nature and frequent bullying, Uka is determined to start a new life when she enters high school and change her habits.
One day, Uka meets Kai Miura, a student with lemon-colored hair who is cheerful and vibrant. Kai helps Uka to get out of her comfort zone and rediscover the joy of life that she once felt.
As their closeness grows stronger, Uka begins to realize that her feelings for Kai go beyond friendship into a heartwarming love story and journey of self-discovery.
The Honey Lemon Soda anime was adapted by the studio J.C. Staff studio, which is known for various popular anime. The project is directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori. Akiko Waba, who was previously involved in Blue Reflection Ray, will work on the series’ composition. The character designs are by Aimi Tanaka, best known for her work on Sugar Apple Fairy Tale. The music for the series will be composed by Akira Kosemura, who has composed the music for Ao no Orchestra.
