In the final episode of the first season of Blue Lock, the officials of the soccer association asked Jinpachi Ego to stop the Blue Lock project, which was considered wasteful. However, Jinpachi kept the project going and even took a big risk.
Thus, it was agreed that the best team from Blue Lock would face off against Japan’s U-20 national team. If they lost, the program would be terminated. However, if they win, the Blue Lock Eleven will get the chance to take the place of the National Team with genius Sae Itoshi at the helm.
The Blue Lock Eleven team will be handpicked by Jinpachi from the 35 participants who remain until the end of the third selection. The Blue Lock project aims to create a selfish striker, so the team will be made up of players who are passionate about scoring goals.
