My Hero Academia Vigilantes anime release date has been announced with the release of a new action-packed poster and trailer.

Based on the original concept from My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi,
anime spin-off Vigilantes sets its release date with a new official trailer released by Studio Bones.

My Hero Academia: Vigilante has released a new teaser and trailer through its official X account and website, confirming a release date of April 7, 2025. The trailer features the main characters, Koichi Haimawari, Pop Step, and Knuckleduster, as well as information on the voice cast and other details.

Shuichiro Umeda will voice Haimawari, joining Ikumi Hasegawa as Pop Step and Yasuhiro Mamiya as Knuckleduster. The staff for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes consists of director Kenichi Suzuki, Yosuke Kuroda as series composition writer, character designer Takahiko Yoshida, and a soundtrack team that includes Yuki Hayashi, Shogo Yamashiro, and Yuki Furuhashi.

Jump Festa 2025 has confirmed them, along with the announcement of the official release window for Season 8 (Final Season) of My Hero Academia, which will air in Fall 2025. Studio Bones will handle animation production for both series.

Fans are looking forward to the exciting zero-to-hero story in Vigilantes, especially after the successful conclusion of the My Hero Academia manga last August and the final volume’s record sales.

The anime’s 7th season became one of the most fan-anticipated with attention comparable to popular shows like The Boys, Saturday Night Live, and WWE Monday Night Raw.

The latest visual features three characters, including Koichi Haikai, Pop☆Step, and Knuckleduster. With a sense of speed, this visual depicts the activities of “Vigilante” running at night.

The story follows Koichi’s encounter with Pop and Knuckle, who live a monotonous college life. Their voices will also be introduced for the first time. Shuichiro Umeda will play the role of Koichi Haikai, Ikumi Hasegawa as Pop☆Step, and Yasuhiro Mamiya as Knuckle Duster.

In addition, famous heroes from the Heroaka series such as All Might and Eraser Head will also be present. Don’t miss the next development to see how the Vigilantes who perform ‘illegal’ hero actions interact with the pro heroes who maintain security.
