Carrying heavy themes such as faith, justice, and ethics, Daredevil: Born Again offers a rich and emotional narrative. You can’t wait to see how Matt Murdock will deal with the new challenges he has to face.

Here are the episode titles of the upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again, in no particular order:

  • “Heaven’s Half Hour”
  • “With Interest”
  • “The Hollow of His Hand”
  • “Straight to Hell”
  • “Sic Semper Systema”
  • “Isle of Joy”
  • “Excessive Force”
  • “Art For Art’s Sake”
  • “Optics”

The titles “Heaven’s Half Hour” and “The Hollow of His Hand” show the deep bond between Matt Murdock and his Catholic faith. “Heaven’s Half Hour” can be interpreted as a rare opportunity to find tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of life.

While “The Hollow of His Hand” may reflect Matt’s struggle with feeling abandoned by God, especially after experiencing a profound loss. Photos from the set and rumors indicate that Matt may have lost Foggy early on in the story, making this all the more relevant.

“Sic Semper Systema” is a wordplay on Sic Semper Tyrannis (“That’s how it’s always been for tyrants”), which hints at attention to systemic corruption, most likely related to the Kingpin’s attempt to become mayor of New York. This episode could depict Matt’s fight against institutional injustice as he confronts Fisk and the system that facilitates his power.

“Art for Art’s Sake” is an obvious reference to Muse, the antagonist of the season. Muse represents the belief that true creation arises from suffering, by eliminating mistakes and revealing the raw, often horrifying truth.
