As we know, Netflix has announced that the live action Avatar: The Last Airbender will continue into season 2 and 3, so what will the series synopsis be?
The Netflix series hit number one on Netflix’s Top 10 with 41.1 million views in 11 days. Avatar: The Last Airbender also took the top spot in 76 countries and was in the top 10 in 92 countries.
The series Avatar: The Last Airbender Live Action ends with Aang making it to the North Pole to find a waterbending master. However, they face the obstacle of a fire nation attack. Despite this, Aang managed to repel the fire army by sacrificing his body to unite with the oceanic spirit.
After that, the story continues Aang’s journey in search of the earthbending teacher. Therefore, the Avatar team traveled to Omashu to meet Bumi. Unfortunately, the next scene shows that Azula has captured Earth and the season 1 story ends thus.
Avatar Netflix Season 2 and 3 Live Action Synopsis
The Avatar: The Last Airbender Live Action picks up the storyline from the first season of the animation. The season culminates with the fire nation attacking the North Pole, where Aang and his friends reside. The first season ended with Aang successfully repelling the fire nation army with the help of an oceanic spirit.
In the animated series, the story continues into the third season. Season two chronicles the Avatar team’s adventures in the Earth Kingdom while searching for an earthbending master for Aang.
Then, in the third season, the conflict against Fire Lord Ozai began when Aang had mastered all the elements just as Sozin’s comet arrived.
1. Aang must learn earth element control
In order to fight Fire Lord Ozai, Aang must have the power to control all the elements. He accomplished his first goal by learning to control water at the North Pole.
Katara, who was already proficient in waterbending, assisted Aang in mastering the element. Therefore, the next step for Aang was to find a teacher who could teach earthbending.
In the animated version, Aang will meet Toph, a blind girl from a noble family. Although she can’t see, she has an extraordinary ability to control the land.
Through Toph, Aang realizes that controlling the ground is not only about moving earthen objects, but also about listening to the movement through the ground. Besides being Aang’s teacher, Toph will also be his new friend.
Recently, Netflix has released the official announcement of the actress who plays Toph through a short upload and teaser. Actress Meya Cech has been selected by Netflix through thousands of auditions. This means that Meya Cech will play the role of Toph and help Aang learn to control the land in Avatar live action season 2.
2. Azula gives chase
In the first season, the story depicts Zuko’s struggle in pursuit of the Avatar team. In addition to Zuko, Azula also appears as his competitor in an attempt to catch the attention of Fire Lord Ozai for the throne. In the animated story, Azula will be the next to go after the Avatar team.
Although there is no official information from Netflix regarding the synopsis or story plot for the live action Avatar seasons 2 and 3, we can predict it through the storyline in the animated version. Let’s wait for more information from Netflix.
