Nickelodeon has officially introduced the newest avatar character to come after Aang and Korra. They made this announcement through the launch of the first look of their new animated series, Avatar: Seven Havens.
The new animated series was announced by Nickelodeon at the San Diego Comic Con on Thursday (24/7). The announcement coincided with Avatar’s 20th anniversary.
Seven Havens tells the story of a pair of twin brothers who have the ability to control the earth element. One of them realizes that he is the next Avatar.

The first look at Avatar: Seven Havens shows a young Avatar named Pavi, walking with his pet, a unique creature that is a cross between a cat and a lemur. Nearby, a mentor named Jae can be seen, in the middle of a rocky desert landscape. In the distance, a city can be seen, with a sky with a mysterious glow.
The premiere features a dramatic and tense setting, depicting the profound changes that have engulfed the world Korra left behind.
From the ruins of a modern city to a severely damaged nature, the visual imagery suggests that the world of the Avatar now faces a more complex and profound threat. The young new Avatar seems to be struggling not only to understand his destiny, but also to restore the world that has been destroyed.
Seven Havens will reportedly bring a variety of cultures that we have never seen before in the Avatar universe. The adventures in this new series will take place in a world that is larger, has many fragmented parts, and is full of diverse ideologies.
