This badass female character died in the last episode of The Walking Dead which aired on November 20, 2022.
For those of us who are die-hard fans of The Walking Dead series, we must still be feeling blue. Because through episode 24 of the 11th season which aired last week, this apocalyptic zombie series, finally ended too.
Although once again it feels heavy on the heart and lips to part, but yes, if you have to part, then part.

Now of course, because the episode is the last episode, it is not surprising that then there are some of the top characters who died. But of all, the most shocking and heartbreaking was the death of this badass female character.

Rosita Espinosa
Yes, the badass female character who died in the last episode of The Walking Dead is none other than Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos). And to be honest, as a fan who has been following this series since the beginning, Rosita’s death was very shocking.
I’m not really a big fan, but I like Rosita’s figure. Because for me, he is one of the most consistent character arcs. This means that from the beginning she was portrayed as one of the brave and badass women.
Yes, it’s almost the same as the character Maggie Greene aka Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan). But unlike Maggie, Rosita still looks and feels fun. He’s one of the series’ characters who perfectly balances the serious and fun elements.
Killed by Zombie Bite Infection
But unfortunately once again, his badass figure did not last long even in the final episode. Rosita died after being bitten by a zombie group. She got her bite when she wanted to climb the stairs to escape the zombie horde.
At first when he fell into the zombie crowd, we thought he died immediately. But oddly enough, he survived and was able to continue his escape.
But towards the end of the episode, it was revealed that while she was in a crowd of zombies, Rosita was indeed bitten by one of the zombies. Its bite dug into his left shoulder.
He then only lasted a few more hours before dying from the bite infection. After he breathed his last, his brain system was shut down by his old friend, Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt).
