Dandadan of Science Saru surprised fans by releasing the first teaser for season 2 of the anime featuring Jiji’s transformation. The highly anticipated premiere of the anime is scheduled for July 2025.
The first teaser for Dandadan Season 2 has been released via X at Jump Festa. It gives a sneak peek into the continuation of Season 1, featuring mysterious and creepy enemies. At the end of the teaser, Jiji appears in a new form, joining Momo, Okarun, and Aira as users of supernatural powers.
Abel Gongora, who was the lead animator for the iconic opening in Dandadan Season 1, was also instrumental in storyline development, directing, set design, editing, and post-processing, now serving as the new co-director alongside Fuga Yamashiro from Season 1.

Dandadan Season 2 will premiere in July 2025. The first season ended thrillingly with Okarun and Jiji peeking into a room full of seals.
