After a long wait, one of the future members of the Straw Hat crew in One Piece Live Action season 2 has finally been officially revealed. Inaki Godoy presents the introduction in a short one-minute video that shows Chopper first look for One Piece season 2.
1. First Look Chopper One Piece Season 2
In a video that Netflix shared, the crew, staff, and cast of the series were seen doing a script reading. They recite the dialog that they will deliver during the filming process.
Interestingly, at the end of the video, the actor who plays Monkey D. Luffy, Inaki Godoy, introduces a new “character”. The character that will appear in the upcoming season 2 of One Piece live action is Chopper. However, the camera did not show Chopper’s frontal appearance.
At the moment, we don’t know whether Chopper will be portrayed using puppets, actors, or CGI technology, or a combination of all of them. However, from the looks of the show, it seems that Netflix will be bringing Chopper to life with the help of CGI.
As mentioned earlier, we haven’t seen the front of his face yet, but from the rear view, Chopper appears to be faithful to the version in the manga.
Despite the appearance of Chopper on Netflix, there are still some lingering questions for fans. Aside from the face shape of the live action version not being announced yet, the name of the voice actor for Chopper’s character is also unknown until now.
Therefore, we can only wait patiently until the official One Piece Live Action account provides the latest updates regarding Chopper’s facial appearance and who will be voicing him.
2. Season Two will Adapt the Drum Island Arc

The adventures of Luffy and the Straw Hat team will continue in the second season of live action One Piece. After the success of the first season in 2023, Netflix quickly gave the go-ahead for the production of the next season. They even had a big surprise in store for fans.
Following the storyline of the manga version, season 2 of One Piece live action will feature some classic stories. Among these storylines are Little Garden and Drum Island.
Fans who follow the anime or manga must be familiar with these two arcs. In the Little Garden arc, Nami has to deal with a severe fever caused by a mysterious illness.
The incident continues into the Drum Island arc, where Luffy and his friends try to find a doctor to save Nami. This is where we are introduced to a cute character, a deer who becomes the Straw Hat crew’s doctor, Tony Tony Chopper. This character will also appear in the storyline of season 2 of Netflix’s One Piece live action.
