Synopsis of Korean Drama Mary Kill People
The central character in this drama is Woo So Jung (Lee Bo Young). So Jung, is a devoted doctor who secretly helps patients in critical condition to end their lives peacefully through euthanasia procedures.
Although it is against the law, So Jung believes that relieving patients from severe pain is a true act of humanity. So Jung, in action with her longtime best friend, Choi Dae Hyun (Kang Ki Young).
Dae Hyun, used to be a plastic surgeon but has now lost his license to practice. Together, they run a secret clinic fraught with legal risks. Trouble begins when Jo Hyun Woo (Lee Min Ki), a detective who is battling a late-stage brain tumor, receives an assignment to locate the two doctors.
Instead, in the process of his investigation, he finds himself in a major inner conflict. Will he continue to carry out his role as a law enforcer, or will he get involved with those who have been the target of his search?
