The new Korean drama Buried Hearts tells the story of a man who hacks into a 2 trillion won political slush fund to survive. He later dies from being killed by a mysterious man, but does not realize that his account containing 2 trillion won has been hacked. Because of the murder, he lost the money.
Seo Dong Ju works as a leader in the chief secretary’s office at Daesan Group. He is known as “Daesan Man,” someone who devotes his life and death to the interests of Daesan Group.
But on the other hand, he actually hides his complicated and passionate ambitions deep inside his mind. Seo Dong ju has the ultimate goal of taking full control of Daesan Group when he has the chance.
Then there’s Yeom Jang Seon, a law school professor and former director of the National Intelligence Agency. He is the most influential person in South Korean politics. He even controls the powerbrokers behind the scenes.
Yeom Jang Seon feels the peak of joy when she uses money and power as she pleases. She is the type of person who feels alive only when she controls everyone like a marionette doll.
