Is Silk: Spider Society is part of Sony’s Spider-Man universe film aka SSU? Let’s see the discussion right away.
Maybe when this article was uploaded, many of you already knew about Silk: Spider Society. But if you don’t know, okay I’ll explain it again.

So Silk: Spider Society is a live-action adaptation of Spider-Man’s universe comic character, Cindy Moon aka Silk. As reported by TV Line, this series will tell the story of the character’s origin, life, and adventures.
For those of you who may not know either. Cindy Moon is a superheroine who is a Korean-American hybrid. He, like Peter Parker aka Spider-Man, was also bitten by the same radioactive spider that bit Parker.
But despite this similarity in origin, the two have very different lives. And the fact is that Cindy’s own life is just as exciting as Parker’s.
That’s why it’s no wonder that fans and Hollywood have been itching to make a film adaptation or live-action series of it.

And thankfully once again, that dream has finally been fulfilled through the news of Silk: Spider Society. Now the one who will handle this series (showrunner) is Angela Kang. Kang as we know is the showrunner of the hit apocalyptic zombie series, The Walking Dead (2010-2022). The executive producers will be Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The Lego Movie).
Well later, this series will make its premiere on MGM+ and will later air globally through Amazon Prime Video. However, as of this writing, I haven’t found out exactly when the series will air.
Is it part of the SSU?
Aside from the airing schedule, another thing we are curious about is the connectivity status of this series with SSU. So yep, is this series part of Sony’s Spider-Man universe?
