The game itself will put players in the role of a mecha pilot and engage in epic battles that move dynamically. The game allows players to move around a very large-scale map.

About Armored Core VI
The concept of this game itself is still the same as the previous series and other games in a similar genre. However, FromSoftware has been equipped with more new experiences, including through close cooperation with Bandai Namco Entertainment, which again holds the role of publisher.
The game’s story takes place on the planet Rubicon 3, where a material vital in aiding humanity’s technological evolution is losing control and forcing various factions to fight over the source of its power.
The synopsis for the game will tell the story of governments, corporations, cults and also unknown mercenaries fighting over an alien substance that can drastically advance humanity.
Ready for Release in 2023
For now, no gameplay has been shared. But the cinematic trailer is enough to give an idea of what kind of feel this new series will bring. Especially from the setting of the world which does look like it is being hit by a terrible disaster.
A little additional information, the development of this game was actually worked on by Hidetaka Miyazaki as the main director. Which previously the role had then been transferred to Masaru Yamamura.
FromSoftware and Bandai Namco plan to release Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and of course PC via Steam in 2023.
