Through its latest gameplay trailer, Bandai Namco shows off the action of Emilie De Rochefort or commonly known as Lili in Tekken 8. The figure of Emilie De Rochefort aka Lili Rochefort is a Monaco national fighter who debuted in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection.
Lili is the only daughter of oil tycoon Rochefort Enterprises who was also a victim of the Mishima Zaibatsu’s takeover. She found her rival in the form of Asuka Kazama in The King of Iron Fist Tournament.
Tekken 8’s New Lili Look
Through its latest gameplay trailer, Bandai Namco showed a mix of ballet elements and some other complicated moves. But in Tekken 8 & this time, some of his combos are quite aggressive and brutal.
In addition, Lili also demonstrates a variety of new attacks and has unique abilities that make it difficult for enemies to predict the direction of her attacks. Lili’s movements look more aggressive even though she retains the flexibility of her attack animations in Tekken 8.
Her new set of combos and attack variations still feel familiar, based on what was shown in the trailer. In her own execution, Lili looks to have a variety of new mixups to keep her enemies guessing.
Features Cross-Play and Netcode Rollback”
Through his Twitter account, producer Katsuhiro Harada confirmed that “Tekken 8” will feature cross-platform play and include a NetCode rollback.
Harada then continued that although “there are still some remaining issues” with adding cross-play features, it will be implemented in Tekken 8.
Speaking of the netcode rollback, another fan on Twitter also asked Harada about this feature. He answered, “Already installed it and already have what you want.”
Bandai Namco as the developer of Tekken 8 revealed that Tekken 8 will be coming to Next-Gen consoles. Tekken will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and also comes to PC via Steam.
That certainly makes sense given the stunning graphics of the trailer. Hopefully, consoles will be able to maintain the stunning visuals from the trailer when Tekken 8 is officially released.
