The latest trailer for Kraven the Hunter introduces a new character who is one of Spider-Man’s classic villains. After more than a year since the first teaser was released, Sony Pictures has officially unveiled the second trailer for Kraven the Hunter.
Rhino is Present in the Second Trailer of Kraven the Hunter
In this latest trailer, viewers get to see more of Sergei Kravinoff and his father Nikolai Kravinoff. However, the highlight of the trailer is Aleksei Sytsevich’s appearance as Rhino which we finally get to see.
We then see Kraven’s dramatic moments in prison and as he takes down his enemies. The trailer really showcases the incredible power that Kraven possesses, which he utilizes to eliminate various targets.
Interestingly, the great abilities of this “superpower” are different from those in the comics. Because, in the comics, Kraven doesn’t actually have such superpowers.
Based on what was seen in the trailer, it is possible that Rhino was previously Nikolai’s worker. Also, Aleksei’s transformation into Rhino may be related to his father. The new trailer also features explicit scenes that will be present in the movie. As mentioned, Kraven the Hunter will be rated R or Restricted.
Fans Hope Spider-Man will also be Present
Many fans are hoping that the movie will not hesitate to showcase various scenes of violence and gore. From the trailer that Sony released, Kraven the Hunter looks like it will indeed feature all of these elements.
Interestingly, many fans have reacted to this trailer with the hope that Spider-Man will appear. However, it remains to be seen whether Spider-Man will actually appear or not in this movie later.
Although the Madame Web movie that was released in early 2024 did not get a positive response, Sony’s Spider-Man Universe still plans to launch two movies that they have prepared. The first is Venom: The Last Dance, which will be the closing movie of the Venom trilogy, and the second is Kraven the Hunter. Let’s stay tuned for further updates on these two movies.
