Spider-Man 4 will be Miles Morales’ Live Action Debut?

It looks like it will be very interesting if we get to see Miles Morales and Peter Parker in one scene taking down villains in Spider-Man 4.

Reportedly Miles Morales will make his debut in the live action version in Spider-Man 4. This news was confirmed by Daniel Richtman, although there is no further information regarding this plan.

Interestingly, this news suggests that Miles Morales will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), not Sony’s Marvel Universe.

Miles Morales is actually a relatively new character. He was created by writers Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli, and first appeared in the Ultimate Fallout #4 comic in August 2011.

His appearance comes after the death of Peter Parker, an alternate world version, in the Ultimate Marvel comic series. Miles himself comes from a Puerto Rican-American father and an African-American mother, and he grew up in Brooklyn, New York.

Tom Holland has expressed his desire to bring Miles Morales to the big screen several times, and it is likely that the plan will be realized by bringing Miles Morales and Peter Parker together in one scene to fight villains in the film.

Moreover, with the concept of the multiverse that the MCU is introducing, this could be an opportunity for Miles Morales to appear in it.

Holland himself once said, “I feel like we succeeded with our first franchise and there’s a part of me that wants to leave with my head held high and pass the baton on to the next lucky kid who’s going to carry this character forward.”

A few years ago, it was rumored that Spider-Man 4 might be the finale of Peter Parker’s role in the MCU. This opens up the opportunity for Miles Morales as the right successor to become Spider-Man.

Miles Morales aims to represent ethnic diversity and take over the role of Spider-Man from Peter Parker.

His existence has expanded the representation of superheroes in comic books. In addition, he has also appeared in various other media such as video games, animation, and movies.

For example, he was the main character in the game Spider-Man: Miles Morales for the PlayStation console and also appeared in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse which won an Oscar.
