3 Spider-Man: Brand New Day Villains Revealed

Three villains for the movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day have been leaked, two of which are new villains in the MCU. Who are they?

The movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day will apparently feature three villains simultaneously. Introducing more than one antagonist in a movie is not a new idea in the world of Spider-Man.

Since his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Spider-Man has faced various villains, both individually and in groups. However, the presence of three new characters in one movie remains something to behold.

1. Spider-Man 3 Villains Information: Brand New Day Leaked

This latest information was leaked at the private Disney Blockbuster Consumer Products event in Las Vegas. The movie will reportedly feature Tombstone, Boomerang, and Scorpion.

The existence of these three villains indicates that the fourth Spider-Man movie will present a more complicated narrative. No longer solely about a teenager trying to balance his personal life with his role as a superhero, this time Peter must face the threat of a structured criminal force.

Meanwhile, the leak was revealed by Chris Higashi through a post on Instagram (currently deleted), which stated that the three enemy characters were present in the presentation of upcoming products from Marvel and Disney.

Tombstone and Boomerang are great villains in the comics, while Scorpion has already appeared in the credit scene of Spider-Man: Homecoming. These three characters have the potential to cause varied conflicts, both physically and emotionally for Peter Parker.

Each villain has their own backstory and reasoning, which allows this movie to be one of the most dramatic and suspenseful of all the Spider-Man movies in the MCU universe.

2. Challenges for Marvel Studios and Sony

In previous installments, movies featuring multiple villains have often been criticized for feeling too claustrophobic or lacking character development. Therefore, fans are hoping that this movie can create a balance between action, emotion, and depth of story.

However, it is interesting to see how Marvel and Sony will divide the villains in the story. With so many characters appearing, creating a flow that remains directed and not confusing is a challenge.

More interestingly, although the presence of these three villains feels more focused on everyday problems, it actually brings Spider-Man’s story back to its roots.

Either way, it’s interesting to see how these villains’ stories can connect Brand New Day as an important bridge in Spider-Man’s character development towards bigger MCU crossovers, such as Avengers: Secret Wars.
