Activision officially announced an ambitious collaboration between Call of Duty: Mobile and the legendary Japanese franchise, Mobile Suit Gundam. Titled “Season 6-Gundams Arrive”, this will be one of the most iconic seasons in the game’s history.
This collaboration will take place on July 2, 2025 at 17:00 WIB, and brings a variety of exclusive content that combines the world of futuristic shooters with the classic mecha feel of anime.
One of the main attractions of this collaboration is the presence of a new game mode entitled “Gundam Team Deathmatch”.
This mode introduces 4-on-4 battles in a third-person perspective by controlling Gundam units instead of regular operators.
The Mech Gundam in this mode is armed with special abilities such as vertical jump, fast sprint, and unique weapons and skills directly inspired by the anime series.
Call of Duty Mobile x Gundam Content
Season 6 also introduces a sci-fi-themed Battle Pass that features a new weapon called the 3-Line Rifle, a bolt-action sniper with a modern design.
The free tier in the Battle Pass grants access to these weapons and some additional items, while the premium tier features futuristic-looking operators such as Misty, Atlas and Rock Hound, as well as PDW-57, BY15 and of course 3-Line Rifle blueprints in special variants.
Activision is also providing a Double CP promo that allows players to earn twice the usual Call of Duty Points when completing the Battle Pass or purchasing the Armory Series.
To complement this, a seasonal event themed to the United States Independence Day will also take place from July 4 to 9. In this event, players can earn special weapon blueprints, calling cards, and 4th of July-themed charms.
The Gundam event in CoD: Mobile also provides various free rewards for players who actively play in Gundam Team Deathmatch. There’s the Survival of the Fittest event, where you can complete missions and challenges to get Gundam-themed items, such as:
- J358 – Fin Funnel v Gundam (legendary weapon)
- Urban Tracker — Defense Force
- Cyro Bomb — Haro (reskin)
- Emote — Haro Team
- new camo, and much more.
With fresh content, innovative gameplay, and the nostalgic spirit of anime, Season 6 is predicted to be the most memorable season for the player community.
