Capcom will be hosting another Capcom Showcase 2023 event next week as part of the Summer Game Fest 2023 event series. There is no definitive information on what Capcom will focus on during the showcase,
It seems that this event will include Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective HD Switch port (which will be released later this month) and we’ll see more of Exoprimal (which will be released next month).
It’s also worth remembering Dragon’s Dogma II (which was recently officially revealed as part of the PlayStation 2023 exhibition in May 2023). Capcom also recently announced an upcoming mobile collaboration with Pokemon Go developer Niantic called Monster Hunter Now, which will be released in September 2023.
Capcom Showcase 2023
Last year’s Capcom expo contained no new game announcements, but the 30-minute event highlighted a pile of new details and DLC for previously announced games.
The 2022 event featured glimpses of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, Exoprimal, and a pile of Resident Evil-related news. It seems Capcom wants to make this an annual event.
Capcom has announced that it will be hosting a livestream event next week. This will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023, 3:00 PM PDT and the show is expected to last 36 minutes.
Capcom Showcase 2023 will be part of a busy week of updates, with Xbox Showcase, Ubisoft Forward, and Summer Game Fest also taking place next week.
So far, we have learned that the Resident Evil 4 Remake DLC titled “Separate Ways” is in development. Of course, this franchise still holds many other surprises.
In addition, there are still many other announcements that will be given by this publisher. Hopefully we get a bright spot from the continuation of other franchises such as Monstaer Hunter, Pragmata, and Devil May Cry.
