After the news about its presence was confusing, finally Sony Interactive Entertainment officially announced the PlayStation 5 Slim. The PS5 Slim will have two variants that you can choose from, the PlayStation 5 Slim Standard with Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive inside.
Then there is the Digital Edition version that comes without the Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive. But it allows owners to add it separately.
This is because in terms of design, the PS5 slim has a side divider in the center that allows users to disassemble the Disc Drive section.

The PS5 slim will come with up to 30% smaller volume, up to 18% lighter weight for the standard version. The Digital Edition version is up to 24% lighter than the previous PlayStation 5 model.
