The game concept offers a great co-op experience created by the developer of the previously award-winning It Takes Two.
However, since the game is designed to be played by two people, lone players may face challenges enjoying it. Thankfully, Hazelight has provided tips and solutions to the problem of playing Split Fiction without a partner.

Just like their previous games It Takes Two and A Way Out, Hazelight created Split Fiction as a game that requires interaction and cooperation between two players to progress. Literally, you can’t play this game alone. This begs the question: how do you play if you don’t have a partner to play with?
In addition to the unique ship-you-a-friend concept released by Hazelight, the studio also provides a solution through their Discord channel, where you can find other players to play with.
Hazelight has shared an invite link to their Discord server on Split Fiction publisher EA’s website. To join, simply click the link and accept the invitation. You will need a Discord account, which is a chat platform designed for online communities.
Once you have successfully logged into the Hazelight server, find the Split Fiction section and click on the sf-looking-for-player channel to post or respond to submissions regarding the search for a play partner.
Partnerless Split Fiction Feature
The Split Fiction game offers an interesting feature called Friend’s Pass, which makes it easy to find friends to play with. If you already own the game, you can invite one of your friends to join for free, regardless of the platform you’re using.
This game supports crossplay between PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Your partner will need to find Friend’s Pass at their chosen game store and download it, although it is a free program.
