9 Dinosaurs that will be Present in Jurassic World Rebirth

Here are 9 dinosaurs that appear in the Jurassic World Rebirth movie, scarier and stronger than the previous movies.

Launching thedirect.com, last month Universal released a high-quality official image of the Jurassic World Rebirth movie that shows the nine main types of dinosaurs that will appear in the film.

Under the direction of Gareth Edwards, “Jurassic World: Rebirth” tells the story of a group of secret agents under the command of Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson). They travel to a secret island, once the location of Jurassic Park’s main research facility .

The team’s mission is to collect DNA samples from the three largest dinosaur species that exist on land, in the air and in the ocean, with the aim of creating a cure for humanity. However, their journey becomes perilous when they have to deal with a variety of monstrous creatures that have bred in isolation.

List of Dinosaurs in Jurassic World Rebirth

1. Tyrannosaurus Rex

The new Tyrannosaurus rex in Jurassic World Rebirth comes with a bigger and more muscular design, reminding us of its position as a terrifying creature in the first Jurassic Park movie.

Not only that, this T-Rex also has the terrifying ability to swim, as you can see in the trailer when it chases the survivors down the riverbank. This shows that this animal is much more threatening than its rivals on Isla Nublar.

2. Spinosaurus

The latest high-quality images from Jurassic World Rebirth present a creepy and very impressive Spinosaurus design.

Not only is it more scientifically correct than real specimens from the late Cretaceous period, the Spinosaurus in Rebirth also has a mix of dark and yellow colors on its sides, making it very eye-catching. This new Spinosaurus design is also quite different from Jurassic Park 3.

3. Velociraptor

The latest HD image of the fearsome dinosaur offers fans a chance to see the Velociraptor like never before. The design seems to incorporate elements from similar creatures featured in Jurassic Park 3 and The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

The ornament on top of the head with orange stripes adapts The Lost World, while the presence of feathers indicates that this is a male raptor.

4. Dilophosaurus

One type of dinosaur that reappears in the movie “Jurassic World: Rebirth” is the Dilophosaurus. The brand-new design of this predator is more lifelike than the version that appeared in the movie “Jurassic Park,” mainly because of its much larger size.

In Michael Crichton’s “Jurassic Park”, this animal is a 3-meter-tall carnivore with powerful hind legs and a long neck. In addition to its larger physique, this animal also has the ability to spit venom to paralyze its prey before finally devouring it with its sharp teeth.

5. Aquilops

Aquilops appears as a pet belonging to one of the victims trapped by the ship incident on the hidden island. This dinosaur is a small, non-threatening plant-eating species. It has a striking appearance with a dominating orange color and a black pattern adorning its tail.

6. Mosasaurus

The newest Mosasaurus will appear in Jurassic World: Rebirth, having previously caught the attention of audiences in the first Jurassic World trilogy. In this latest movie, the Mosasaurus appears smaller than the version on Isla Nublar, but still has an intact tail and sharp teeth. The striking difference between this new Mosasaurus and the previous version lies in its reptile-like skin texture and darker color palette.

7. Distortus Rex

In the movie “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” the main antagonist known as Distortus Rex or D-Rex appears in a terrifying figure, with a bigger and stockier design, which reminds us of Indominus Rex and T-Rex from “Jurassic World” and “Jurassic Park.”

This genetically modified creature has an enormous size and arms strong enough to strangle its prey before crushing it with its sharp teeth. In addition, its giant head is similar to the Rancor from Star Wars.

8. Titanosaurus

Titanosaurs are one of the giant sauropods that once inhabited our planet. In the movie Jurassic World: Rebirth, this animal is a major highlight for Zora Bennett’s team.

As a herbivore, Titanosaurus has a unique physique with a brightly colored spine and red at the top of the neck and lower back.

In addition, it is equipped with a long, whip-like tail, which plays an important role in protecting it from predators.

9. Quetzalcoatlus

Quetzalcoatlus, as the largest flying dinosaur, had a wingspan that resembled the size of a fighter plane. It is known for its striking orange beak and the blue pycnofiber that adorns the back of its neck.

In its habit, Quetzalcoatlus often watches its prey from a distance and swiftly repels any threats that might jeopardize its nest, where it lays its eggs.
