1. Smile 2 Movie Synopsis
In the Smile 2 movie trailer, Joel, who has suffered a curse after witnessing Rose set herself on fire at the end of the previous movie, comes out of a house with an injured hand. He runs as if he wants to escape from something.
Unfortunately, he gets into a car accident where his blood forms a smiley mark on the road. If Joel dies, the driver of the car that hit him will be the next target to face terror and experience the curse until someone else sees him end his life.
It is suspected that the driver was Lewis, a friend of Skye Riley who is a pop star. At some point, he suddenly became very panicked after seeing something invisible, which then made his face look creepy while injuring himself.
Since then, Skye felt that a smiling figure followed her around, even when she was on a world tour. Because of this, instead of feeling happy like an idol on stage, Skye seemed moody and full of thoughts.
In addition to dealing with the threat of terror, Skye also faces worsening anxiety and the pressures of being a famous artist. She must confront her dark past to regain control of her life before it becomes too much.
2. Release Date
Paramount Pictures announced that Smile 2 will be released before Halloween, on October 18 in US theaters. However, unfortunately there is no information available regarding the screening of Smile 2 in Indonesia.
But if it airs in Indonesia, it will usually air two days before the release date in the United States. And sure enough, the movie Smile 2 has been airing in Indonesia since October 16, 2024.
