There is no denying that the movie that we will discuss the synopsis of is one of the most anticipated movies by us. Well, how could you not? The first movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was a boom when it was released 5 years ago.
In addition, as we know, the interest of audiences from various countries (including Indonesia) in Spider-Man is at an all-time high again. So once again, it’s no surprise that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is one of the most anticipated films to be released in 2023.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Synopsis
The synopsis of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse focuses on Spider-Man’s main character, Miles Morales (Shameik Moore).
Set one year after the events in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Morales is visited one day by his best friend/lover-interest from the first movie, Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Woman (Hailee Steinfeld).
Stacy then took Morales to the location where the Spider Society gathered. Spider Society is the name for a collection of Spider-Man or Spider-People variants from each earth/universe.
The Spot
The reason Gwen took Miles to the location was to ask him to stop the movie’s main villain, Jonathan Ohnn or also known as The Spot (Jason Schwartzman).
Because The Spot, who has the ability to move from one universe/earth to another, messes up each of its universes.
Of course, Miles is willing to help. But at the same time, he is in conflict with the boss of the Spider Society group, Miguel O’ Hara aka Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac). The conflict is called because he doesn’t like the heroic ways/methods carried out by Miles.
