A TV spot clip released for the international promotion of the movie Venom: The Last Dance, introduces a new symbiote character that will appear in the movie.
The clip doesn’t feature much new material, as most of the footage in it is taken from the movie’s first trailer. One thing that stands out is the glimpse of the new symbiote in the movie.
New Symbiote in Venom: The Last Dance
Although there is no certainty regarding the new symbiote that will be featured in the movie, many speculations are growing among fans. Some fans are of the opinion that the new symbiote that will appear is Toxin, which is an evil symbiote connected to Pat Mulligan’s detective character. This event happened at the end of the sequel movie, Let There Be Carnage.
Toxin will indeed be one of the symbiotes that appear in Venom: The Last Dance, based on the clues contained in the subtitles. However, there were earlier rumors that there would be another symbiote besides Venom that would have a significant impact on the film’s storyline.
Some people also speculate that the new symbiote is Lasher. Lasher first appeared in the comic Venom: Lethal Protector #4, and was a symbiote created by the Life Foundation company from Venom’s seed.
One of these symbiotes later joined forces with a security guard named Ramón Hernández, which marked the beginning of Lasher’s emergence. He later became the “Guardians Symbiotes” for the Life Foundation company.
The Last Movie of the Venom Trilogy
In regards to The Last Dance, Tom Hardy has stated that the movie will be the finale of Sony Pictures’ Venom trilogy. Many fans regretted this, as the character missed a great opportunity to fight against Spider-Man.
Actually, pieces of the symbiote were seen in the MCU when Eddie Brock returned to his world in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Eddie was also aware of Spider-Man’s existence.
While there were indications of a possible meeting between the two characters, it never materialized. However, there might be a big surprise waiting for us in this final Venom movie.
